The Wild Coast Horse Rehabilitation Project is located in Chintsa on the Wild Coast, 35km north of East London. This volunteer vacation at a horse rehabilitation centre and working farm is perfect for horse lovers. Daily programs are adjusted to enable volunteers to join the popular beach trails which cater to backpackers visiting the Wild Coast.

Wild Coast Schools Project

The Wild Coast Schools Project is located in Chintsa on the Wild Coast, 35km north of East London. The area is very rural and impoverished, and schools are basic. This project focuses mostly on teaching computer literacy at school level, but volunteers also get involved in environmental and aesthetic upliftment, gardening and environmental education. Beyond the ICT input in the schools, the project managers, VA32°S, run art clubs and afternoon sports training.

Wild Coast Wildlife Experience

Volunteer Africa 32° South is involved in conservation projects in the Greater Kei Kubusi Conservation Area in Wild Coast region of the Eastern Cape. The Pre-Veterinary Wildlife Experience is perfect for those who want a “hands-on” internship with African wildlife. Volunteers get involved in a wide range of activities including environmental conservation, anti-poaching measures and even direct contact with the wildlife.
